Managing Director

'Green Recruitment Solutions are seeking to recruit a Managing Director for a leading Waste Management company. The role encompasses the management and development of the Hazardous Waste business with sites spread across the North West, North East, Yorkshire and Scotland. They are experiencing an increasing demand for their services and need someone who can capitalise upon these market opportunities by improving each site, increasing efficiency, introducing new services, controlling costs, driving sales and increasing profitability.        The ideal person: A sales biased Director/ Board Level professional from the Waste Management industry A background in Hazardous Waste with good market knowledge and networks within wet liquid Haz Waste, contaminated land, asbestos and soil treatment Strong commercial acumen with experience of managing budgets, P&L and overall business performance etc. Experience of optimising sales and operational performance, putting in place KPIs and other performance metrics, along with relevant and logical business processes Influential with good experience of stakeholder management with the ability to implement change and foster a culture of continuous improvement Able to plan, develop and execute sales strategies along with other corporate strategies ‘Switched-on’ and responsive.
