Principal Process Engineer

Green Recruitment Solutions are working with a global leader in Clean-tech Power Generation. Our Client is seeking an experienced and highly competent Process Engineering professional to join an accomplished Engineering Team and work on the design and development of challenging and complex thermal power generation, incineration and Energy from Waste projects.

The Role:

• Ensure the provision of process engineering support to the engineer division is provided
• Provide in-depth technical support and industry knowledge relating to EfW/ Gasification
• Preparation of mass balances, process designs for new projects and developments
• Provision of operational support to plant operational teams to provide plant optimization techniques
• Attend meetings in operational regions as required
• To work with regional teams to improve control of contractors, operational efficiency, and effectiveness, and to deliver year on year improvement of performance
• To provide leadership and support to operational teams and provide best practices with respect to health and safety objectives
• To carry out any other reasonable job-related tasks

Ideal Requirements:

• Engineering degree (Chemical/ Mechanical)
• Chartered Status Desirable
• 10+ years’ experience within the Power and Process sectors, ideally Energy from Waste/ Gasification
• Strong communicator with the ability to manage a team and drive for results
• Commercial acumen and understanding of wider business needs
